Medal of King Alexander I Karageorgevich,
Silver (III) Class.
In silvered bronze.
The medal was established in 1922 by King
Alexander I, to be awarded to staff members
of the Royal Household for long and faithful
service.
In 1929 King Alexander I renamed the up to
that date Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and
Slovenes to the Kingdom of Yugoslavia and
the inscription on the obverse of the medal
was altered accordingly to the form of this
example.
The medal stopped being awarded in 1934
following the assassination of King Alexander
on 9 October 1934.
