Ottoman Empire (Turkey): Silver commemorative 
Cami-i Nusret Medal (Iskodra Medal). 
The medal was instituted by Sultan Mahmud II in 
1831 to be awarded to the Ottoman Forces of 
Grand Vizier Resid Mehmed Pasha who took
part in the Battle/Siege of Iskodra (Shkoder or
Scutari in Albania) against the rebels of Mustafa 
Pasha Bushatli, Pasha (Governor) of the Sanjaks 
of Scutari, Ohrid and Elbasan.
This is one of the first Ottoman medals and one 
of the rarest ones as well.
