Kingdom of Yugoslavia: Officer's Cross in the Order of the Yugoslav
Crown, IV (4th) Class. In its box of issue by Huguenin Freres, La Locle,
Switzerland.
The Order of the Yugoslav Crown was instituted in 1930, in 5 classes,
by King Alexander to be awarded for exceptional service to the Crown,
the State and the unity of Yugoslavia.
The date 3 Oct. 1929 on the reverse of the Cross refers to the date that
King Alexander renamed the up to that date Kingdom of Serbs, Croats
and Slovenes to the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.
The Order was abolished in 1945 and it is quite rare.
