Kingdom of Romania: Medal for Loyal Service,
with Crossed Swords, Silver (2nd) Class.
War Variant for the Military (1938 - 1947). 
The Medal was established in 1880 by King Carol I 
(at the time Domnitor of Romania) to be awarded 
to civil and military personnel, both Romanian or 
foreign, for long and faithful service to the 
Kingdom and the Crown of Romania.  
This is the rare War Variant of the medal for the 
military. 
It was introduced in 1938 and was awarded 
during WW2 to Romanian and Axis troops for 
military services.
It was discontinued in 1947.
