ration of Former Veterans/Combatants.
Most likely of the Dutch Section. 
The European Confederation of Former 
Veterans is based in Paris, France. 
Its aim is to strengthen the links and ease the 
differences among former allies and enemies 
in Europe, to promote peace, security, 
co-operation and friendship and to defend the 
human rights.
The Confederation was recognized as a body 
of public interest by the French government in 
1962. It is also recognized by the Council of 
Europe while during the Cold War played a 
significant role as a point of contact between 
the West and the Warsaw Pact. 
The medal is scarce.
