Dienste" (For Faithful Service)
The medal was isntituted by King Willem I in
1825 and was awarded to Non Commissioned
Officers and Other Ranks for 12 years of
honorable faithful service in the Army (when
stationed in Holland) or for 6 years for service
in the Colonies.
This is the scarce 1st type of the medal that
was isued during the period 1825 - 1851.
