"Airone" (Italian: Heron) Bomber - Hydroplane.
The fuselage of this airplane model is made of a
rifle cartridge and the wings are made of artillery
shell parts.
Note the details of the engines and of the landing
system - floaters.
The 3 propellers are rotatable.

The CANT Z.506B was a triple-engine floatplane.
Its production by CANT started in 1935.
It established 10 world records in 1936 and 10
more in 1937.
It saw its first operational use during the Spanish
Civil War (1936-1939) as a reconnaissance aircraft
and torpedo bomber.
During WWII it was used as a reconnaissance
aircraft, bomber and air-sea rescue plane, by the
Italian Air Force (Regia Aeronautica) & the Italian
Navy (Regia Marina) as well as by the German
Luftwaffe.
The CANT Z.506 is considered one of the best
floatplanes ever built, remained in operational
service for more than 20 years while the Z.506S
air-sea rescue variant remained in service until
1959
