Imperial Germany - Prussia : WW1 Regimental Medal of Honor for the 
1rst Infantry Regiment of Upper Rhineland N.97. On single bar.
Silver medal marked "Silber 800" on the rim. 
The medal was awarded to the Regiment "For Bravery in Front of the 
Enemy" in 1914.
The N.97 Regiment took part in the WW1 initially at the Eastern Front 
(Baltic Region) and since 1917 at the Western Front where it participated 
in the Battle of Arras. 
A really scarce medal.
