Imperial Germany - Brunswick: Order of Heinrich 
(Henry) the Lion, Silver Honor Award 1st Class.
On single bar.
Inscribed: "IMMOTA FIDES" (Latin for: Steadily 
Faithful).
The medal is marked "Silver 990" (for silver purity) 
on the rim. 
The Order of Heinrich the Lion was established in 
1834. 
The Silver Honor Award was added in 1903 ( in 
1908 a bronze lower class was added too) and 
was issued for long and faithful service as the 
entry level to the Order. 
The medal was suppressed in 1918 with only 
1804 awards ever being recorded.
