Imperial Germany - Kingdom of Bavaria: WW1
Veteran Association Badge of the 2nd Bavarian
Infantry Regiment "Kronprinz" (Crown Prince).
The 2nd Infantry Regiment was formed in 1682
by Elector Max Emanuel.
The Regiment participated in several conflicts
and its name changed several times, the title
however "Crown Prince" remained.
During WW1 it was part of the 6th Army under
Crown Prince Rupprecht and suffered great
losses.
After the war, 3 companies of the 19th Bavarian
