Imperial Germany: Commemorative Spoon
of the SS Furst Bismark (1905).
The SS Furst Bismarck was an ocean liner 
of 8.332 gross tons built in Glasgow by the 
Fairfield Shipbuilding and Engineering 
Company for the Hamburg America Line. 
Launched on 22 March 1905, the vessel 
was used in the Hamburg-New York line. 
In 1914 she was renamed Friedrichsruh. 
Following the end of WW1, the ship was 
surrendered to Britain, in 1919. 
In 1922 she was sold to a French 
maritime company and was renamed 
Amboise. 
She was scrapped at Genoa in 1935.
