LZ 127 Graf Zeppelin operated commercially from 
1928 to 1937. 
Graf Zeppelin made the 1st commercial passenger 
flight across the Atlantic, the 1st commercial 
passenger flight around the world, established the 
1st regular transatlantic passenger crossings by 
air and flew over the North Pole. 
Overall, the Airship flew more than 1.000.000 miles 
on 590 flights and carried over 34.000 passengers 
without a single injury.
It was scrapped for fighter plane parts in 1940.
