IMPERIAL GERMANY: Membership Badge of the 
German Colonial Combatant - Veteran Association. 
In the form of the cap of the South West Africa 
Protection Force (The German Colonial Troops in
South West Africa). 
The Association was established in Berlin in 1896 
initially by 50 former members of the South West 
Africa Protection Force.
By 1942 there were about 190 affiliate Clubs all over 
Germany, with about 12.000 members, veterans of 
the campaigns associated with the former German 
Colonies in Africa and Asia.
The badge is scarce.
