The Lord Denys Resistance network was 
created in 1940, by Andre Verot (a Railroad 
worker) in the area of Pas de Calais.
The group involved in channeling the shot 
down Allied airmen out of the German 
Occupied France, in gathering intelligence 
and in conducting sabotage operations.
An extremely rare unofficial resistance 
award.
