Specification
Great Britain: Crimean War Medal (1854 - 1856) 
with Sebastopol clasp. Signed by Wyon. 
With its diploma of issue, by the French Empire 
in the name of Queen Victoria of England -  
issued to a member of the French Regiment of 
Chasseurs d'Afrique (Africa Hunters - a Light 
Cavalry unit).
The diploma is numbered and dated 25 Dec. 
1856.
Silver military medal to a French member of 
the expeditionary force, unnamed as issued 
(The Crimea War medals were all issued 
unnamed, however the British military 
personnel had been given the chance to 
return their medals in order to have them 
engraved on the rim. 
The allied personnel rarely had their medals 
engraved).
