Belgium: WW2 Cross of the "Belgian Army of
Liberation" Resistance Group.
The "Belgian Army of Liberation" Resistance
Group was established in Liege at the end of 1940
and remained active until 1945.
Its members were recruited among Police and
former military personnel as well as from youth
organizations and Unions of Christian Democrats.
The first national commander of the group was
the former minister, Antoine Delfosse.
Since the summer of 1942 he was replaced by
Pierre Clerdent.
The operational force of the group was estimated
to 7500 members.
