BELGIUM: WW1 Fire Cross.
The Cross was instituted in 1934.
It was awarded to the still living, at the time,
military personnel, holders of the "fire card" -
a certificate issued to those who were actually
engaged with the enemy and had been
exposed to enemy fire during the Great War.
This the rarest type of the medal - the 3rd
type.
