Attributed, on the reverse, as issued to 
Australians: F46715 E. C. ROBB
The medal was instituted in 1943. It was awarded 
for 6 months operational service (2 months for 
Aircrew) during WW2 for RAN and Army, RAAF 
non-Aircrew and Merchant Navy personnel.
The medal is rare as only aprox. 220.000 were
awarded.
